ABOUT THE SPEAKER
RACHEL ZITIN wears many professional hats, but she is primarily a storyteller. She leads customized private day tours as well as multiple day trips around Italy. She also works as a yoga instructor and leads yoga, meditation, and wellness retreats all over Italy. She has worked and lived full-time in Rome for over 10 years during which she has had ample time to explore the deep inner workings of Italy and Italian culture.
Her goal in all of her work is to allow people the opportunity to experience themselves through another culture, bridging the gap between tourist and Italian. She is passionate about slow travel, slow food, slow living, and il dolce far niente (the sweet joy of doing nothing, which is a concept we’ll definitely cover in this talk!)
