In this event, Steve Brock, author of the forthcoming book, “Hidden Travel: The Way to More”, will take you on a journey to discover a different way to think about travel.
The title relates in part to hidden places (and we’ll explore how to find those on your own), but also to the hidden longings and creative passions that travel enables you to pursue in ways you can’t – or don’t – do here at home.
In this interactive presentation, Steve will touch on key hidden travel concepts such as:
— How to not just experience, but actually create more of those powerful magic moments on a trip you remember forever.
— What the single most important secret is for ending a trip well.
— What you can learn about seeing in new ways from one of the world’s greatest travelers – who happened to be blind.
— The surprising reasons why you should NOT do a volunteer vacation (and how to do so in a better way).
— Why some of the heaviest baggage you carry on trips may be emotional and how to leave behind the things you were never meant to bear.
The best part of hidden travel isn’t just that you’ll have better trips.
The best part is that if you learn some of these key concepts, you’ll have a better life.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
STEVE BROCK helps both new and experienced travelers to think differently about travel and not do the same old trips in the same old ways. In particular, he encourages travelers to learn new ways to connect their interior life (passions, purpose, and creative interests) with their travel.
In his forthcoming book, Hidden Travel (due out Spring 2021), he explores how to find the hidden places and personal experiences that matter to you, not just those deemed popular by others. He has traveled to over 50 countries and (when actually able to fly) is on a plane every week or two in his work running a branding agency in the Seattle area where he lives with his wife and favorite traveling companion (and yes, they are the same person).
